i want to frag

ok i have this coral i think is a colt coral i dont know and i want to know how and what is the best way to frag it its gettin why to big here is a pic of it thankx

easy' sharp scissors or a razor blade, cut the "limb/s" just like a tree ( like trimming )

then tooth pick thrue the base of the fragged colt and rubber band it to a small rock.
lay back in tank , then let it attach itself to the rock ( 2/3 days ) then pull tooth pick out .

can i just cut it in the tank or do i have to take it out cut it then put it back in i was told when you cut it it will let out a trail a slim and it makes it hard to glue it it was about8 inchs tall when i got it now it is 12 to 14 inchs

Looks like a Kenya tree to me.

Just cut off some "buds" and let them go where they will. You will soon have them all over your tank. Surprized it has not already started to spread on own.

My tank is filthy with them.





For this particular coral, it you can simply cut off "arm" and shove tight in small hole in rock. It will attach and start growing very quickly...
