That is a fantastic tank, but how do you keep the top of the tank protected?? Is that in fact an open top?

Your fish could jump out if you have jumpers. Also, you never know if an accident could happen and something accidently falls in.

I saw these tanks at MACNA, they are really nice; but I have a cat, who is very curious. Would make a nice addition to any room, they are just beautiful, and very quiet.

I don't think they can make them with glass, they have to be made of acrylic.. One of my LFS's, who custom build tanks using acrylic, made their own. These are awesome seeing them in person..

my lfs has one on display.i'm still waiting to see if coraline builds up on both sides of the acrylic.so far it looks great and is quiet and clear looking.no silent but not very loud either.like i said,i'm observing how it does first.they have a cool set of metal arms that come up from behind and over the tank to hang lights from.just like maybe 3/8 inch steel rod.not very noticable.
