| well i started a pico tank... its a 2 gallon tom pico tank. no light, its on my fuge. it has a 3 inch deep sand bed and a little chunk on live rock from my 15 gallon. im going to let it cycle for about a month and put a pistol shrimp in it.

| Shrimp goby are pretty small so as long as you keep the water in the pico good and stable, you shouldn't have any problems. Here's some info that might help you pair up a goby and shrimp: ShrimpGobies What is a prawngoby? |

| well now im looking for a pistol shrimp... poo. i cant find any that would come out cheap because of the whole live shipping. the cheapest ive found is 65!!! with the shipping. any suggestions. ive asked all the lfs if they have any but thats a negative. |

| wow, 60 bucks is crazy. You mite just wait, you get free shipping if you spend over 79 bucks on saltwaterfish.com. You could get the gobie, the shrimp, and mybe a frag to get the free shipping. Just a thought. But good luck with the little guy.

| yeah live aquaria is great but they to have a minimum... they are also out.
the lfs i have gone to are all bum on that because it isnt a money maker... they have a buisness to run and they arent makeing money off of just a "pest shrimp", as it is seen down here.
if its not popular, they aint got it. and its a pain to get them to order them (even though they go to the whole salers 2 times a week).... |
