Default Sunpod 150w MH delivered today. Acclimation questions
My Sunpod 150w MH is being delivered today and I have a few questions about tank acclimation. My current lighting is 144w PC. I plan on hanging the Sunpod 8" inches above the BC29. Eggcrate or screen is out of the question. How many hours should I run the Sunpod for to acclimate the tank? Current PC's, Actinics run from 6:45a - 9pm. 10k's run from 9am - 7pm.

Why use the screening over the tank ? I'd hang it a tad higher or to the pount that the light is hitting the top rim of the tank for even lighting and depending on what K bulb you are moving to will determine the lighting period also keep an eye on the heat.. The plastic egg crating may warp or even melt . watch it.

I'm not using any screening or eggcrate. So you think I should hang it about 9-10 inches above the tank?
