| There are scratch kits you want to look into as plexi scratches easier and you will learn to hate coraline algae because of this.
Pluses are they are very light weight. I have a 75 gallon 5 foot long plexi show tank that I can move around by myself. They also have a nice clarity when not scratched up. |

care must be taken when cleaning the surface with "plexiglass" magnetic scrapers.
2, they tend to "bow" from the sides , i have seen them even break at the seams where they are glued togehter.
3, if this 100gal. is an old tank' that may be why it's being given to you ' so look closely .
it's free though , but beware' if it was over loaded with rock work' and abused or put on uneven surfaces' it could make you day a "wet one" very quickly . _________ Wildreefs 220 Tank Journal |

| Are you sure its plexi or acrylic? I personaly dont like acrylic, it scratches easily, but it weights less than glass. I prefer all glass. _________ 9YR OLD 90G 30G w/d Mag18 150G skimmer 692w MH,yel&kole tang,foxface,midas&convict blenny,B&G chromies,Blk/yel fin chromie blackcap,nemo,neon goby,6line; Blastomussa Merleti,Acan ,BUBBLE,Torch,LTA, Goniopora(2), Acropora(2),Brain, Moon, assort zoas, yel& G star polyps, R&G open brain, P&B ricordia, montiporas, cup&candy corals, enias,B/G mush,flower ane(2), cherry red mussa, dusters,cleaning crew |
