| I always thought they looked cool and the footprint is more conducive to fish than a skinny or tall tank...
BUT ... hard to get a sump in the stand. And hard to get a good light fixture for them. |

| Yeah, if it was FOWLR, the lighting wouldn't be as big of a deal. The ones I've seen at least tend to be taller, and that can become an issue with lighting a reef tank. FOWLR, however wouldn't need as much light, so I think it would be cool. _________ Prevent dihydrogen monoxide contamination in your aquarium: www.dhmo.org |

| You know you guys are right. I kind of glossed over the FOWLR angle. I guess it would be just the sump that would be some work. |

| sump are a problem for corners. Largest thing i can get under a 55g corner is a 10g sump, which is hardly anything, but it works. The 90 corners are much better to work with if you plan on having a corner reef. Btw, you don't always need a sump to have a FOWLR or even a reef. |

| i have a 42 gal corner tank for sale i loved it but it was not the tank that i wanted. wanted to go reef lights were not going to work and the tank was not big enough. i used a rena canister filter on it an it was sparkling clear all the time with 2 standard 18 in florecent lights was cool for fish though. |
