Default Fish Stuck in PH

For those of you keeping tabs on my tank and wondering what happened since Bubbles, foam on top of water, unfortunately I have bad news.

My brand new six line wrasse was sucked into the new PH. The PH is an Aqua Clear 50. My other PH has a pre-filter on it and keeps things from getting sucked in, but this new one came with nothing of the sort.

Does anyone know if they make a sponge prefilter for this PH?

I would just make one yourself, i think if it were me I'd get a short piece of clear plastic that fit on the intake and wedge some spong in it, let the sponge stick out of the tube just a little that way no fish would get stuck on it

there is a stock round sponge that most pet stores sell. you just need to have a "screen" that the spounge would fit over. you can use anything that fit over the intake of the powerhead and that allowes for plenty of flow. got any old powerheads?

There is a quick filter attachment that Aqua Clear makes for their powerheads, I think I've seen it at every LFS store I have been in so I don't think you will have a problem finding it.

Thanks for the help. I found the prefilter on marinedepot. I will go with that unless the LFS has a better idea. They are decent on knowledge, but I always start here before I head there.

Thanks. I just wish my wrasse didn't have to pay the price for my lesson.
