Bio-load?

I wanted to get one more small fish for my tank and had my eye on a royal gramma. Based on my tank specs below can my bio-load handle it? The tank is almost a year old. Thanks!

A rule of thumb is that freshwater aquariums can hold 1 inch of fish per gallon. Saltwater aquariums can hold 1/2 inch of fish per gallon.

Most of the web sites I have seen seem to line up with this.

I tend to understock so unless all your fish are still small ok. If they are all mature the i wouldnt do it... But that just me, like i said i understock when it comes to fish.

Very true bouraganes, i had forgotten about that one. So lets see, a quick count of your fish and im up to 24 inches of adult fish. Half inch per gallon in your 55 is 27 1/2 inches of fish. So bottom line, its up to you VT.
