12 gal Nano

After one week in operation my 12 gal NanoCube seems to be functioning well.

Have added a small yellow watchman goby and a blood shrimp to give the two percs some company. (oh yes, couple of snails and hermits from main tank}

Despite the lousy lighting and crummy pump and filter system, the corals and zoo's I added from main tank seem quite happy in new environment. In time I will improve on both.

I am going to keep the hang on filter going for the time being.

The fish, after racing around the tank wildly for first day or so, have now settled nicely into their new environment.

Correct. Will keep the filter running till I figure out better solution. Heat not a problem.

Don't know why I never set up one before Never had a need I guess. And thoughts were always on a larger tank, not a smaller.

I like the challenge of keeping the smaller, and it is just as much fun to watch and take care of.

Populating it with existing rock, coral, water and fish made it quite simple to set up.

Wife not happy about additional tank, but considering the alternative, of a much larger tank then my 125, she is quite accepting.

Nice little tank...I just might set up a nano tank for my blue spotted sting ray I plan on purchasing!!!!!LOLOLOL
Just kidding, seriously, I may delve into the nano part of the hobby!
