I love these aquariums from Zero Edge. I think I need to call these guys ... my dream tank is pretty much the one in the upper right side.

I'll take surface area over height any day. Easier to clean too. ;)

I saw one of these used as a clam tank when I was last at Inland Aquatics in Indiana. It was pretty neat.

There was a guy selling one on craigslist that he had made, Matt. He started at like 1000 and last I saw was only asking 400. It looked pretty sweet and water flowed over all four walls and returned in the middle. It was a square shape.

one of the lfs near me had 2 of these on display. One that was about 8ft long and 2ft deep deticated to sps. They are very sweet tanks. I want a canapy on my new tank but also love looking at the tank from the top as well.
Ahh decisions. Maybe I should just get a nano zero edge as well just for fun :)

How big was that one? How did the water flow over the walls? Sounds cool.

Seems like all of the water flowing over the edges would make it hard to see in to the tank....guess you would only look down on it?
