| Astrea Snail | I have the 29 gallon Oceanic Biocube. It works perfect for most lps soft corals except for clams, sps. corals. I have hammer and frogsporn corals, mushrooms, zoos and 40 pounds of live rock. Paid $450 with the stand . Well worth the money and looks like the RED SEA MAX. |

| 3reef Sponsor | I think you're mistaking the RSM130 or 130D when you compare it to your Biocube. The RSM250 is 66 gallons with a host of features. Check out the new video: Red Sea MAX250 | New from Red Sea |

| Plankton | Hi Everyone, I have one. Its a 34gal. Although if your looking at getting one there is a redesigned RedSeaMax 130D. I have the 130 and I have had nothing but issues. Bubble issues, shooting out is mass, bubble issues. I have been on the phone continuously with the dealers and the store I got it from. I find out this week if I can exchange my 130 for the 130D. I might even upgrade if able to the 250/66gal. All the troubles I have been having I have to say this is a beautiful tank!!!!!!!!! Like Troy_S said its a nice piece of furniture!!!!! |

| Bubble Tip Anemone | If you are having trouble with bubbles try the following. Get rid of the bag of "bio stones" that they give you. Get rid of the black sponge that they give you and replace it with one that is thinner, or cut the black on in half. I still have mine set up in addition to my 120 and I run my filter sponge on the right side of the tank and a bag of charcoal on the left between the skimer and the heater bay. _________ |

| Peppermint Shrimp | I purchsed mine 1 week ago. Set up of filters was a breeze. So far all I have in it is 40lbs of live sand and 40 lbs of live Fiji Rock. It is very quite and the timer on the light is great. Very simple to set. I am taking my time so it will be a few weeks before anything else goes in. The tank set up with stand looks great and does not take up much room. I have the 34 gallon now and if all goes OK I will get the larger one next. I am very new to the reef hobby and thought a plug and play would be my best bet for sucess. Time will tell |

| Plankton | the red sea max a 34 gal model and a 65 gal which is about twice as wide as the 34 gal. my lfs has one set up and it is awesome. all the plugs gone into a powerstrip inside the tank (heater, skimmer, pump, lights all included) it has a timmer. the space between the lights and the overflow is very small (unlike the biocube) so fish can't jump in the back. t5 lighing (biocube has PC). very nice sleak design inside and out and stand. i'm about to graduate and get a teachering position i plan on getting the 65 gal for my classroom. tank with allit has is $1600 i plan on spending another $400 or $500 on a deep sand bed, lots of live rock and sevearal small fish . i have a 14 gal biocube it was a good beginners tank. |
