Don't trust the digital thermometers. they are good for getting close but I've found that the "oldschool" glass thermometers are still the most accurate in the hobby.

I would leave the carbon option open in the RSM as you may need it.

Get a refractometer the one that comes with gave me reading that were too high. I get my water from a lfs and I know that the sg is supposed to 1.023 and my hydrometer was reading 1.026 and they were using a refractomer.

i am interested in this tank and i am getting my tank today.

I need help

I can go for the oceanic biocube 29 with the stand for $450 or i can get this tank for $800

I really think it is expensive but if it is that amazing i would be interested in it

Can someone tell me

Oceanic 29 with stand or the RSM with the test kits, salt, chiller, stand, sand, skimmer, heater

Thanks

If you gave me a oceanic bio-cube I'd trade it for a JBJ in a heartbeat Oceanic doesnt even manufacture them they contract it out and stick their names on it.

RSM is 100% the best 1 box Reef solution I've ever seen

Personally I own a JBJ due to the fact I paid as much for my tank, LR, LS and other stuff as what just this tank cost
