Personal Observations:
Fairy Wrasse has become a generic term for many different colour variations of the Wrasse family. It is important that you make sure you are getting a reef safe wrasse as many are not. Different varieties will nip at LPS, SPS and inverts. Including Clams. But the Fairy wrasse is one of my favorate salt water fish. I my tank the Fairy Wrasse has made more shy fish come out from hiding. It is a colourful fish that is Visible most of the time. Making it a great splash of colour to your tank.

It is recommended that a Fairy Wrasse be kept in a tank 50G or Larger

Like all wrasses they have been know to jump.

Feeding: a variety of meaty foods high in nutrition.
I feed mine Mysis and Cyclop ezee along with flake high in
Speralina

Typically Caution is required when introducing a second species of Wrasse to any tank. I have seen Flasher and Fairy in the same tank. But never Fairy and six line

i recently purchased this fish, the soar fairy wrasse(cirrhilabrus solorensis). i had to remove my six-line wrasse, because it was bullying the solar around.its been about 2 months now and he is doing great.
wrasses are my favorite of fish. they are usually hardy, colorful, peaceful, and ive had them eat from my hand. and yes, ive had some that thought they could fly from my tank back into the ocean.
