I picked up a Mandarin a few weeks ago and I have had great luck keeping him fat and happy. I have been feeding him frozen rotifers. After putting a cube in the tank he chows down for hours. Just letting you know incase you are stuck with one of these beautiful but finicky eating fish.

Well, as soon as you put in the cube it starts to melt and it kinda snows all over the whole tank. The Mandarin goes all over the tank eating it and the bigger fish don't seem interested in it at all because its so tiny. Also, since the rotifers are so small as soon as its all melted the tank isn't a mess even with the powerheads on.

I don't really feel the need to prove anything to anybody. I am just offering what my experience has been with this particular subject. If I find there is a problem with what I am doing I will post but so far so good.
