have a very pretty mandarin dragonet which is looking a little skinny but is acting fine and is as active as he has ever been. established 2.5 year old tank. wondering if i should be feeding something special just for him? thoughts?.. reading online everyone says they eat copepods...

What size tank. Mine ate prepared, but still starved to death because they don't eat "meals".... they graze on copepods all day.

10G tank with a Fluval 105 and a hob fuge so the total system is about 13G...

There is no way to maintain a Mandarin Dragonette in that tank. He will wipe the pod population out at a rate way way way higher than it could breed in that tank.

yeah, or get clumps of chaeto with pods already in them and that will help it populate faster!

Even in a 60 gallon tank it will wipe out the pods in a short time.
