Black dots on tang!

I was looking at my yellow tang and I noticed tiny black dots on its body and fins , I think its a parasite or something , I heard a fresh water dip might help , but it dosent sound like it would work , it sounds like a good way to kill my tang but I dont know , what is the best way to treat these black dots.

i think fresh water dips are used more for ick black dots are probaly some type of disease where ick is actually a parasite
