| PICTURE POLICE ENFORCER | I have a couple of Q's. Why do you have the drain T'ed off? I wouldnt place the return pump on a shelf, esp. that high. It should be at the bottom. By placing a filter floss, I wouldnt put the last baffle. | Fire Worm | I T'ed the drain off in case i dont have enough flow going to the pump back to the tank fast enough. i was thinking it might drain that last section. with it T'ed i can adjust the flow as needed so all can run smooth...lol but now that i think about it more having it T'ed kinda defeats the purpose of a sump, eh? Ahh ok, my reason for the shelf was to conserve space should i need it... well my original thoughts were to leave the last baffle in case i decide i want to make another shelf and toss a bag or Carbon or PO4 remover on it...Another thought i had though was to maybe just make a Carbon and PO4 chamber out of empty RO canisters...has anyone ever tried this? |
