Hob overflow question

    Does anyone know anything about the clear for life overflow boxes I found a great deal on one but don't know anything about them thanks

    I don't find anything either but hopefully it is a U tube style like the Eshopps or Lifereef and not a continous overflow style like the CPR which is a PITA and flood waiting to happen unless it has the extra Aqualifter pump and it is working well. The U tube style is very simple and bulletproof.

    David at reef geeks said it looks like it works like a lifereef. So I assume the utube, it was only $25 so I couldn't resist trying. I don't really know much about how these things work so any info would be appreciated.

    Ok here are the pictures and I assume I put it together correctly. I need to know about it having the two tubes do I use both or just one and how does it all work? Thanks

    If it has two tubes I would use both unless the overflow is designed for much larger flows than your return pump can provide. By that I mean if its a 1000 GPH overflow and you are only running it at 250 GPH etc.

    It is a 600 gph and I haven't got the return pump yet
