what is the maintenance for a denitrator coil?

Its my understanding that a CD is a maintenance-free unit. Its completely sealed so I dont think that you can take it apart. Luna

no you dont want to take it apart...will release gas and you will toss your cookies (I have never taken it apart but that is what I hear)
You do nothing to a coil denitrator....just check to make sure that the flow of water is still going and that the tubes are not clogged!

I had two that I gave up on (never got them to work) and I did open them up.

Trust me - the smell is baaaaad. Real baaaaad.
In the end - a sulfur denitrator was what worked for me.
