    sure if thats what you want.. go for it. I've wanted a uv sterlizer for a while, but just dont have room in my sump and dont want a inline one.. so Ive put it off for now..

    uv sterlizers will help kill off mostly bad bacertia/parasites.. some good though.. I've known a few people to run them without problems.. Its a small insurance policy..
