A friend of mine wants to get rid of his and he is giving me a really good deal on it, anybody own one of these? Any reviews would be helpful, thanks

Its not a known name brand unit, but it doesnt have to be. If you do decide to get it, install the two DI stages vertically. The more stages the better, that one looks good. Find out how much are the replacement filters. Keep us posted.

BTW, how much is he selling it to you?

well he isn't a close friend of mine but it's someone that used to own a fish store that i use to go to and he now sells fish equipment from home, but i can get a new one for $130 or get a old one for $90, i would rather go for the new one, but i just don't know much about this unit, or don't know much about an RO/DI unit at all as this is my first one. Is it hard for a beginner to get a hang of a RO/DI unit?

or is that one that you can recommend that you use that is good and easy to use that costs about $130 USD? I'm in Canada so that's why 'm stating the USD
