Default What heaters does everyone use
well right now i am using a finnex 250w titanium heater and i can not for the life of me figure out what the problem is, it works great for like 3 days then all of a sudden no matter what temperature i set it to it will go up to 84!!! so needless to day i am in the market for a new heater and i was wondering what everyone runs on their systems? thanks for any help in advance

I have had similar problems with ineffective heaters that continuously go up or down. I am now using Jager heaters...though with the environmental ambient temperature being in the 70-85 degree range the heaters are off, and the fans have kicked in...

yea i used to be able to turn the heater off when the tank was upstairs but now the tank is in the basement and no chiller or fans are really required except to keep my canopy from catching fire.

Not good...make sure you have proper ventilation! In a way, I am glad that I don't have canopies over my tanks!

oh yea that was my main concern when i bought the canopy but there is plenty of ventilation and lots of air flow. i will get a pic up when i go home.
