| i am looking at some of the tds on ebay, since i got ur attention here, i borrowed my friend tds and measure my ro water it was around 20 the first time i test out of the container, and then when i test it come out of the hose is zero, i got a layer of green film on the glass since i sat it right next to the window would that be the cause of the sun or would it be the lighting problem? i use 50/50 light 130w pc light bulbs made by blueline |

| What tank is growing a green film on the glass? Tds meter is just to measure the water that your ro is making not to measure your tanks saltwater.
Are you mixing your water right inside the fish tank? |

| standard tds meters work on freshwater for the average consumer. and any brand will work. the higher end tds meters that measure any liquid mainly in labs cost way to much for the average joe.
_________
just one little sps frag tank with lots of goodies |
