Default Pumps for closed loop
I am currently setting up a new 475 gallon reef tank and want to put a closed loop system in it . The question I have is what pumps are going to handle the on/off of a wave maker? I am considering the laguna maxflo 2900g x 4, or any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

If it was me I would use one of these Oceans Motions and not have to turn a pump on and off. It will handle up to 7500 gph.
