| Pump??? I,m ready to purchase the pump for my new setup.
As far as quality, I think most of you prefer mag drive.
But to save bucks and get more GPH I also saw a pump made by Laguna.
Has anyone used or heard anything about these?

| Just for info. I read the PDF product manual and it sounds to me like this pump is for freshwater only. "The pumps are completly submersable and designed to run continuously in freshwater". Page #2 General Information. Just thought you would like to know before you buy.

| BE CAREFULL!!! --- I to once thought I would save $ by buying a cheap pond pump. --- within days all my inverts started dying off --- causing an absolute mess in my tank --- unbeknownst to me, the pump had an internal brass fitting - thereby filling my tank with deadly copper. It took a few months and mega $$$ to recover.
Not worth the risk in my view.
