Plumbing through a wall

Are there any types of bulkheads available to run the plumbing through a wall? I'm playing with the idea of running a 2nd tank of my 1st one. Sorta like a remote refugium.

None I have ever heard of.. Now there are pipe collars or thimbles that you can get to make a clean looking fit.. Thats what we use in the plumbing business. Of you can simple use wall ecusions the chrome collars that are used around pipeing coming up through a floor for a radiator or hot water baseboard

I guess you can use a regular bulk head like the one we use on our tanks...

I tried it myself but I couldn't fit my hand up far enough in the wall to make it work so I used spa tubing, an union and routered a wood block to frame it up.

I still have to switch over the return to spa tubing tho...

btw, are you trying to run another tank just on the other side of the wall or down to a second floor or what??

Hmm. Those are some good ideas...

The other tank is in another room behind it...but there is a stairwell in between. The lones would have to go under the 2nd floor stairs/above the basement stairs. Not a big deal I don't think. They'll only be exposed when you go down into the basement.

But like I said, it's still just an idea for now.
