Question Pentair Aquatic Lifeguard Filter

Has anyone heard good or bad, on the Pentair Aquatic Lifeguard Advanced Filtration Kit? Was thinking about one, just wanted to know if anyone has one or heard about them. I have a 55 gal reef tank with only 5 fish. Thanks, Deb

I had one of those filters on my 125 and I did not like it. The pleated filter would clog very fast and cut the flow in my tank down severly. I have been in the process of phasing the filter out of my system. I just recently pulled it out from under my stand to free up room fo a sump. The one thing that I did like about the filter was the heater module, it kept the temp. very stable and it kept the heater out of my tank.

Thanks, guess you helped me make my decision not to get one. Eheim has a wet/dry cannister filter, is that one alright? Thanks, Deb

Thumbs up XP series!

Everyone here is an Eheim guru. I originally started with an XP2 Canister Filter. It worked great.!
