| Newbie looking for some help I have a sealife system wet dry. i about to setup a 90 gallon reef tank, and reading up I notice that the bio balls are not a good idea. Is there a way anyone can give me an idea what i can do to convert it to a fuge or something useable. Thanks a lot |

I finally narrowed it down to my sponges and filter pads. I went from 20ppm to 5-10ppm just by cleaning them on a weekly basis. And my no3 "problem" is not considered to be a problem in the first place. I was cleaning them only once a month. I know ppl who have bb's for over 15 yrs WITHOUT ever cleaning them. I dont know why bb's have such a bad wrap. |

I thought about setting it up when I first did mine, but the filter was cheaper.(at that time) |
