Default Loc Line What Size to Get?

I have a quiet one return pump that claims 500gph at the height that I have it. I want to use loc line with a y fitting for two nozzles. Would you use 2 1/2 in lines or the 3/4 in returns. The pluming going up is 1in.

Default

I am going to use 3/4'' for the corner returns on my tank and 3/4'' to 1/2'' Y reducer for the middle returns. I chose these sizes because my main return line is 3/4''
