| Koralia water circulation pumps HI,
Noticed some spots in my tank that where not getting much flow, so I ordered a couple Koralia Water pumps for moving that water around the rock piles. They seem to be very low wattage, and perfect for my needs.
I did see one person mention they don't work with cycle circuits and will go bad rather fast if powered down and up. mine will run 24 hours a day.
I have been using some rather powerfull skimmer pumps very dangerous to critters the get to close to the intake, pureee of shrimp or fish.
Yikes. Doug

| I think they make one for a wavemaker now. I've got one k2 and is a lot of juice for a 55. |

| I'm running a hydor koralia #3 right now. I have a #2 also, but it's out at the moment while I'm experimenting with positioning and aiming them. I'm probably going to keep both a #2 and a #3 going in order to keep the water surface agitated and to discourage algae from growing on the rocks and sandbed. Using both at the same time does seem to raise the water temperature a couple degrees. _________ |

| i have a k3 and k2, the k3 800 gph runs constantly except i rigged it to put out a little less flow. and the k2 600 gph is hooked up to a wave maker along with 2 maxi jet 1200's, the k2 works great on the wave maker the k3 is hair pulling loud only when it starts. its not fun to hear that noise every 25 sec.
overall they put out some wicked flow, and well built.
