| Identifying a product... Stopped by a fish store the other day and discovered a product that is pretty much a magnet inside a tube. What it does is pull apart molecular bonding between chemicals I add to the tank like calcium, strontium and trace elements. Theoritically, what this does is replace the need to do the water change. I would buy it from the store but they are EXPENSIVE and usually price is 150% higher then what I can find from the net. Can anyone help. |

I must not have paid attention in Chemistry class |

I must not have paid attention in Chemistry class | Maybe it releases the dirty water atom from the clean water atom thus separating the two causing the now free dirty water atom to evaporate into the stratospheric atmosphere with all the other billions and billions of now free dirty water atoms Pay Attention from now on amcarrig
Sorry for being so sarcastic ghost I just can't help it |

| I saw an article where someone dismantled one and found a plastic tube, some magnets, and some insulating tape.
Very high tech.

| | Aiptasia Anemone | i think this would fall into that category of novice reefkeepers that were somehow persuaded by a lfs employee to purchase a sohal surgeonfish for their nano tank and complete water changes with homemade copper infused tap water. no offense ghost but it sounds like a joke and a gimmick to those who are lazy enough in trying to cut corners. just my humble opinion of course..... _________ |
