Does any1 know any good ideas to stop ur fish and invertebrates from getting sucked up into the filter or pumps

try putting a small sponge at the filter/pump intakes...this is a quick and easy solution...another way, buy a net or net material and cover the intakes with it.

a sponge is your best bet.

Anything that will disburse the flow or suction over a greater area is best to decrease the force associated with the vacuum affect from a small opening such as found on our pumps and powerheads!

Rubberbands release phosphates into your tank as they dissolve.
