I use a controller as well.
Titanium is the only way to go.

for you guys using a controller do you use the dc8 or x10 to controller the heater.

I used to use ebo jager exclusively until they got sold/bought out and went to Eheim. Ever since, I use the aqua medic heater/controller and so far I like them. I have to employ a few more this week as a matter of fact.

Don't bother with the Won Bros. Every single one I've sold or used has gone defective. Every last one.

It was fine when I left for dinner,water level was up to the marked line. Came home roughly 45 mins later, and the power was out in the my fish room. No water on the floor or anywhere else. I went and checked the breaker box, and flip the break back on, and I heard a nice sizzling and popping noise, cut the power off, went and unplugged everything, turned the power back on and the stock tank had about 3"s of water. Its 20"s tall with the waterline marked at 18"s. Any other idea of how it could evap 15"s of water in less then 45 mins?
