| Re: fluval canister filter I would not use the fluval if you want a canister I would look into an Ehiem _________  Starting over with a 210 RR from All Glass, Lifereef Berlin sump, skimmer (installed) and calcium reactor (ordered). Aquatraders Catalina 72" 3x400 mh 10 k/4x96 watt blue PC, Closed Loop with Little Giant 4MDQX-SC and 2- 3/4 Seaswirls. |

| Re: fluval canister filter i have one too and no longer use it on my salt tank. it seemed to rocket my amonia and nitrate level through the roof even after water changes. i put it on my fresh water tank and have no problems there.
i have also been told that with live rock and a skimmer that a filter system, hangon or canister, is no longer required
