Default External Pump to turn 220G tank

I was looking for a quite & powerful external Pump to turn 2500 plus p/h

I was thinking about the the Dolphin Amp Master MDA 4000/3000 verse the Sequence Barracuda or Sequence 3200.

Any one have one of these pumps or can recommend something?

I had heard good things about the Dolphin amp master.
But then heard a few bad stories now thinking about the the other option which was the Sequence 3200 or Barracuda.

I have a 220 gallon tank and about 8 - 9 feet of head.

$310...Sequence 3200.....213w....2200gph

$260...Barracuda.............325w.....2500gph

went to http://www.mdminc.com/Choosing_The_Right_Pump.htm and was trying to figure out static head, friction head and pressure head... Boy too much to figure out.

I have two 2" drains from the over flow and two 1.5" out of the sump to the pump and then 9' to the top of the tank. then was planning on using the Spider 1.5" manifold to six 1/2" ports to the top of the tank...

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a 1 year old Amp Master 3000 running my 210. Thus far I'm happy, but it is louder than when I originally got it. IMO, given time, most high output pumps get a little loud.
