It felt like a strong Vacuum sucked the oxygen from my lungs and it knocked me and us out Burnt our sinus and lungs throats eyes the stuff will kill you deader then 30 hells. I'm serious as death buddy It was just lucky we where up on scaffolding and scissor lifts had we been on the floor then it being denser then air and lays like a fog we would all have been dead . The bolt on the flange snapped and the seal broke and poof out it shot . We where young and dumb and it was Thursday and a 4x10 work week and we just assumed the Nut would loosen and the bolt would break and not snap ! .. Like I mentioned this ammonia is not like momma uses on her floors. IT WILL KILL YOU ! Have alook and see about a swamp cooler unit easy to make and safer also.

Man look at my Avatar. I've got the internal titanium bits and missing bone parts to go along with it. I'm cool, well I used to be cool with seriously dangerous hobbies. A fish tank just AIN'T worth it, especially if the results are iffy.

Anyway, if you do go an build it. Make sure to post pictures!!!!!!!!! I've got to see this one.

I was thinking of trying to make a chiller out of a cheap water bottle dispenser cooler thing( you know the thing that you put the 5 gallon tanks on top and the unit either heats or makes the water cold.

Has anybody heard or tried making it out of one these things?

When I finish setting up my tank i will experiment with cheap bottle cooler/ dispenser to see if it work. I know it wont be as efficient as a regular chiller but i think it will do the job. I dont need a chiller i am just curious.
