Cool Cal reactor or no Cal reactor

Hi there

I'm thinking of getting a Cal reactor but don't know if it worth it
I add my calcium manually and test it regularly and every thing is good my cal
is setting at 450mg. I guess I'm looking for an easy way out. So is it really worth it.

Well I just recently got one - PM 422 - and I won't look back. It's helped me tremendously but I have a small tank. If you have stable calcium and alk then maybe you don't need it. But if you plan on adding a lot of hard corals down the road, I'd think about it as you'll have an easier time maintaining levels with the new coral growth.

I purchased a CA reactor about 2 years ago. Love it. I was never able to get my CA were I wanted it, so it has helped me a lot.
It's also one less thing you have to do every day.

I would recommend one to anyone planning to keep coral
