| Auto Top off that doesn't suck? I set up one of the Kent float valve to control my auto top off. I had heard some grumbling about his setup. I have used it for like 2 months and I am not thrilled with it. Today I come home to find it had dumped the around 2 gallons of kalk into my tank. The seal has stopped sealing even after a good cleaning. Luckily I never trusted that thing and ran small top off container and a big sump. Could have been a much worse result. Salinity at like 28 and a pH of 8.4. Anyway I am now looking for a top off system that you would truly trust. I am still hoping to get around the $300 dosing pump but I am looking for suggestions? |

| I have the Tunze osmolator, and it has a high level shut off sensor with alarm as well (altho it has never gone off)
I ran the Kent valve for about 8 months with no trouble, but it is not very sensetive. _________ http://www.3reef.com/uploads/BirdSig3.jpgI Love My Sig By John Hawkins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| I have the tunze osmolator as well. Its only been up for like 2 months but no problems. comes with a pump. You can get a tunze calcium dispenser to go in your make up water storage tank, it goes between your pump and feed hose so the calcium does kill your pump prematurely. I don't have that option but may later.

| I am leaning toward the JBJ or the Reef Fanatic model. |
