Is this a aquarium chiller?

I came across this "VWR Scientific" chiller and was wondering if anyone here knows if it is for aquarium or safe to use in aquarium? It is 1/2HP chiller with a titanium drop-in coil, so, i guess it's no pump needed...just drop the coil in the water.

Thanks! Jason! Also, I remember you said you are only running a fan on your sump right? How hot does your house get in the summer? Do you turn it on 24/7?

My family doesn't get home until late (like 7-8pm) and we don't turn the A/C on before that and it gets above 82* in the house while outside of the house is between mid and high 90's (South Florida). My tank went up to 84* one day last month, but I didn't run a fan. I am planning to get one tomorrow and see if it can help to a degree for MH.

Ya I run my fan 24/7 I let the heaters heat during the night but the Fan cools during the day. I do not have A/C and the outside temp can get to 40 C in the summer. Don't know the F conversion. My max temp in the hottest days of summer is around 82F .

I would assume that if you were to add 2 fans it would be able to pull the temp down faster. Now all the fan is doing is helping with evaporation (that cools water) so Top Off becomes a bigger factor.

Just curious, you don't have air condition in the summer!? 40* C is 104* F...that's HOT!!!

I use this when I have to convert form C to F. My chiller is in C, so this helps alot.
