Default Texas Man Catches Fish With Human-Like Teeth

WHOA!

local6.com - Local News - Texas Man Catches Fish With Human-Like Teeth

Quote:
A fish caught in Lubbock, Texas, with teeth that look like they belong to a human has baffled wildlife officials in the area, according to a report.

Fisherman Scott Curry reeled in the 20-pound fish on Buffalo Springs Lake and immediately noticed the catch had human-like teeth.

A game warden photographed the fish and is attempting to identify it.

Pacu very common fish, like the Piranha however the teeth are more used for crushing plant material instead of tearing apart flesh. Here is a web site on them Red Bellied Pacu

I would bet someone had it in the tank and did not know that it grew that large and dumped it in the lake. So common of people to just add things to their tank and not know what they just done. Heck even I know a person who has a Sohal(12in) and Vlamingii (24in) tang in their 75gal.

Wow, that is amazing. I've never seen a Pacu with teeth like that though Berlin. Could be a sign of evolution.
