I didn't know that some of these guys get that big -- a 650 lb. 10 ft. long catfish in Southeast Asia?! That's a lot of fillets.
I like the comparison of these large creatures and big land animals like rhinos. Since we can see rhinos disappearing, there is a conservation effort. But these large freshwater creatures we can't see, so we don't know what's going on with them and their surrounding environments and ecosystems.
