   |  Kole Tang not up to par
We have had our Kole Tang now for about 7 months. He has always been an active eater and quite active. He was eating fine last night but this afternoon I noticed he was hiding out in the rockwork and did not come out to eat when i fed the tank. The parameters of the tank are 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrites, 5ppm Nitrates. There have been no new additions to the tank for several months.
Any thoughts or ideas? _________ 72 gallon bowed 150lbs LR 60 lbs LS

Maybe he's just depressed!!!! Don't know, hope he starts feeling better!!!!

fingers crossed for you! mine did the same and then died! it was bizarre - he was feeding fine and everything, then the next day he hid in the rocks and then passed on!
Hope yours snaps out of it tho! _________ You will never know whats in my tank as i can only type 15 words  | |

Same thing happened to me as well. Checked the tank a little while ago during lunch and he was behind the rock dead with hermits feeding on him 
I am bummed he was the second fish to be put in that tank... | |

Thanks, guys...He was one cool fish, so much personality, and definitely the ruler of the tank.
Hey Matt, The skimmer, a Tunze 9010 is working great...It is pulling a large amount of skimmate everyweek. Yep, all of the other fish are acting normally... | |
