Went to my LFS last night to find something to help cure my hippo tang of its ich. He gave me this huge bottle of this product called Kick Ich. You dose it depending on your tank size. It has absolutely no copper in and is completely reef safe. This way you don't have to QT your tank. He also told me to add garlic to the diet and to give my tang a freshwater dip- if I could catch him. I couldn't catch him, I have way too many hiding spots to catch him. I will keep this updated on how the new product works. You dose on the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 10th and 13th day. So far so good but I will keep updating this post to let you know the results.

I would nt dose in a reef tank for Ich but TJM..
Sure garlic will help!!
did you turn off your skimmer for the treatment ?
How long did you chase the fish for befor to give up?
As posted befor many people will simply kill their fish with kindness !!
By the time you finnish dosing treatment the natural cycle of the Ick will be finnished anyways and you will have just introduced a possibly harmful chemical to your system
I would be very wary of dosing anythink in to a display!

Its totally safe to use with any reef I ever had But it will not cure Ich .. May knock it down and slow them up but Its nothing to cure Ich except Copper. I have used the K/I it helps a bit But I have never seen anything to actually add to a system and kill ich.. If the fish is still eating and all I'd just soak its food in the Kick/ick The medication in the product was developed for Humans with bacterial skin infections stuff like that .

UPDATE:
I am about half way through with the kick ich regimine. I am actually really liking it. After the first dose, the day after my hippo tang was looking a 100 times better and he was actually really active- not hiding in his spot.

I know some of you say never to dose within your display tank but I don't have a sump, or a fuge and I have heard that hippo's stress really easily and not to QT them. So some of you may not agree with it, but I am actually really liking Kick Ich

If copper is the only thing that will kill it, what do you do in the event of ich in your display tank? Wont copper kill off everything in the display?

I'm just learning myself and I'm doing the same treatment right now. I have been told that copper is toxic to invertebrates!! From what the reefers thats been doing this for years say I'm not holding my breath it will do much good ,but keep in touch good luck!

Yeah copper is very toxic to inverts, will also soak into your gravel and seams of the aquarium and keep killing things even if you drain and refill your tank.

When you use medicines like that you should just put them in a small bucket filled with water and the medications. Or even better set up a hospital tank that will only ever be used for meds.

I am right with, Roger...It is totally safe to use in a reef tank, have tried it serveral times. If the outbreak is not bad it has worked for us, but for a more severe case I would put the Tang in quarantine...Garlic is always good to use, we use it as part of our tanks regular diet, it will stimulate their appetite and to some extent their immune system. Please be careful if you do a freshwater dip, as Tangs are more sensitive then others when it comes to freshwater...
