Default Ick or Ich?

Are these 2 different things and if they are what are they exactly because I just did a 10% water change on my tank and now 2 of my snails have this white rock looking substance on them. I immediately took them out and put them in my empty 10 gallon nano tank and now the nano tank has the white spots on the back wall of the tank. Any suggestions??
Q

_________

Tank Contents:
55 gal
30 lbs. LR
70 lbs. LS
1 BTA
2 ocellaris clowns
1 yellow tang
2 3 striped damsels
2 blue reef chromis
1 lawnmower blenny
Yellow polyps
Star polyps
3 hermit crabs
11 snails
*Also have a 12 gal nano cube tank

that houses 1 picasso trigger

There is just the one, I would say Ich short for (Ichthyophthirius multifilis) But others say Ick

This is a good link Common fish diseases.

One more Ich! White Spot Disease - Article at The Age of Aquariums - Tropical Fish

It is ICH short for the above long name. As for your snails, they don't get ICH! What you have are probably small snails with a shell like a nautilus. You will find them all over you tank glass, on powerheads, megaflows etc. They are not harmful to your aquarium. I cant remember the name of them off hand.

Spirorbid worms are the small white shelled organisms on the glass, They are about the size of a pin head so they are smaller than what they look like in the picture!!!
