The stress from the hippo move I would call extreame. She was lying flat in the bag before even getting home. Then sat at the bottom of the tank breathing heavy and hiding.
Got back to normal , then after a week of being in the DT, got the first case. a small breakout that wet away in a few days. Second was bigger, now the third case is the worst.
I will keep doing what I do, add some Brocolli and keep on the hunt for a goby.'
Hopefully she pulls through and even more that once solved, this isnt a regular occurance. I would be worried that she would give it to the other fish..

Hippos play "possum" The first time I saw Dorey do that scared the living daylights out of me. Was laying on her side like she died. I had almost fished her out to toss her.
It is funny how many fish play possum. I have been at the LFS when they had a large shipment and are dripping the fish. I look in the containers and half the fish look dead..laying on their sides, while the others are swimming around all happy! However you look closer and they are breathing and when they get into the tank they start swimming around like nothing happened. I was there one day when a customer grabbed a net and went to remove a fish...he thought it died. It was a wrasse that sleeps on the sand on its side and luckily the workers caught him and stopped him!
