i have found white spots on my balloon mollies

i would like to no

-how dangerous is it
-how did it get there
- what should i do

If ich you are going to know very quickly.

Lots posted here and elswhere on how to get rid of if necessary.

I personally have never experienced in 4 years of keeping reef tank.

Because I have added no fish in last couple of years.

And I only get from reliable LFS which quarentines all stock and keeps them in coppered water before selling. (which is good to know, to make sure none of the water that comes with critter gets into tank).

well im pretty sure its itch

i think our lfs sells treatments for it so im gettin my dad to take me

i cant do the move the fish and cycle tank method as i only have 1 tank will post results

May be ICh or a more detrimental disease(Velvet)! Both are serious though and can prove fatal to not just the fish infected right now but the other tank inhabitants!
Have to be careful in treating these diseases, with regards to the other tank mates also!

took the 2 which you could see it on to the fish shop they said it was ich and gave me some stuff hopefull it works

i also bought some green hair algea remover but im gunna wait till this is sorted before i do that
