Default Help Me! Need Help Asap!

I did a 20% water change 3 days ago.

Checked the chemicals yesterday and everything is perfect.

I woke up today and my feather duster had dropped all of its crown.

Then i noticed that the cow fish looked like its skin was coming off and its eyes were clowdy. i gave him a freshwater dip and he looked better.

but tonight i looked at the tank again and now the yellow tang looks like it has ick and the hipo tangs eyes are clowdy.

i have NO IDEA what is going on!

WHAT SHOULD I DO!!??!?!

How did you do water change?

Did you use exchange water right after mixing or did you let sit awhile?

Did you check salinity at same temp as aquarium?

Was water temp in change water same as tank when you did it?

Did you aerate well before using?

Agree with guru. Bacterial, and the Ich may be a secondary infection caused by the bacterial infection. Did you use RO water?

1. Get fish into hospital tank/QT tank
2. Treat with antibiotics
3. wait on Ich treatment until you have decided that your fish DEFINITELY have it.

IMO Ich is best treated by reducing stress, and moving fish will cause more stress. I have had several cases, and each time the only fish that survived were the ones I left alone.

Basically you need to decide which is causing which... Is the Ich causing the Bact infection, or vice versa... Bacterial is easier to treat so starting there is a good idea, then deal with the Ich which if you ARE going to properly treat, will take weeks.
