Default emperor angel sick
i just purchesed him last night i placed him in a qt tank and i went to sleep to wake up to him laying on its side breathing heavy not moveing help what is going on he was trying to swim a little but he was swimming sideways

Does the Q-Tank have movement in it. Often O2 levels fall at night. get some water movement or an air stone in there.

his coler was a little jacked up i bought him off a guy thats gets fish real cheap then he sells them for under price so i dident really get to look at him befor i purchesd him ive bought fish off him befor

i have an airstone in there and a small filter

How long did the person you bought it from have the Emporer? Many times the hardest time is the period in transition between the place of collection to the pet shops tank. Stress due to handling or unsatisfactory water issues can pose a major problem for your Emporer sooner or later!

he probly had him for a couple of days hes been on his side for a whole day now in the qt tank he is still breating i hope he makes it he looks faded all over

How is your QT Tank? Is it heated, Is it dimly lit, Does it have some water movement, Is the water from your main cycled tank or new. The QT tank must have good quality water or your fish will go further into shock.
Are the fishes eyes clear, fins in good shape, no spots on body. I'm sure you know this but just trying to help

it has a heater airstone and a light the water was new water i checked it with a strip evrything was normal i added a power head today to give more circulation im doing a water change rite now and its a bare bottom tank he looks as if he got ich over night and tail rot a lil bit i bought medication and am treating him for both
