zoo's and maybe sponge?

I have a orange zoo frag, on the frag was this grayish pointy growth like a sponge. Well I noticed it's bigger and it gets bubble traps in it from the tiny microbubbles(from the skimmer) that land on it. Is this bad? The gray thing is to your left side of the zoo's, but the zoo's are great...they've doubled in size and amount.

I wouldn't worry about it. There are a bunch of those sponges in my tank, they dont really do anything. Micro bubbles....eh maybe brush them off...but i wouldnt really lose any sleep over it.

Sponges can not handle air getting trapped within their tissue as they can't rid it once it enters inside.
That being said, as Bruce stated, you will have much more sponge in your tank than you realize, much of it you will never know exists!
I know that that will not be as much of a problem as if you had Tridacna clams or anemones!
