| zoa issues 
Ive had this colony of green zoas for a month now and some have these black strands coming outta them and they wont open?? All the others are healthy and standing proud!!  any suggestions?? _________ 4x24w T5ho 135ltr/35gal marine cube 15kg of liverock 2 yellowtail damsels.. more to come Got Questions? Need Answers? |

| Take a soft brush and clean the algae or sediment from around the ployops and the rocks. tangster , i have moved the whole rock around and blown any possible algae and debris, some are trying to come out but it seems the black stand thingy is stopping progress !! a pair of tweezers maybe!! |

| yeah mine dont look that bad . the best way to descibe it , looks like a feather duster tube but black and not hollow |

| That pic was taken when I took them out of the water and they looked more like blobs then. I couldnt get a good pic of them in the water, so I removed them. |

| have you taken a brush and cleaned the area vlowing at it may not remover if I think you have a sponge growth of some type maybe a cyano ? Brush them off |
